Impress Me (Part 4)

Mark Twain gets credit for the quote today. Why Mark Twain? Because Mark Twain wasn’t Mark Twain. He was Samuel Langhorne Clemens. He chose to write under a different pen name. A lot of authors do that.

Not me.

At least, not yet. I have an idea for a book that I may do that with one day. But, not today.

Anyway, Mark Twain was actually a measurement. If you visit his tombstone in Elmira, New York, it is marked by a 12-foot – which is two fathoms, or "mark twain" - monument. Really. Google it and take a look at the picture!

Yet Mark Twain was not Mark Twain. And the Holy Spirit?

Well, the Holy Spirit is often misunderstood. When Jesus left, that was what Jesus sent to counsel us and be with us. Jesus could minister to a few at a time, and speak to a crowd, but the Holy Spirit can be called upon by any and ALL of us, at any time. And the Bible says we are even to pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20 NIV).

But, do we?

Do we even try?

Have you ever even thought about the Holy Spirit leaving that kind of an impression on you?
